Luke Fleming
Luke Fleming is an Associate Professor in Anthropology at the University of Montreal. He has published comparative studies on topics ranging from gender indexicality to honorific pronouns to name taboos. His doctoral fieldwork was carried out in the Brazilian Amazon. His most recent fieldwork looked at Buddhist honorific language in Sri Lanka.

Jack Sidnell
Jack Sidnell is a professor in the departments of Anthropology and Linguistics at the University of Toronto. He is the author of several books including The Concept of Action (with N. J. Enfield, Cambridge University Press, 2017). He has conducted sociolinguistic research and sustained ethnographic fieldwork in both the Caribbean and in Vietnam.
